I’m pretty excited for Planet Green’s new eco show Battleground Earth: Ludacris vs. Tommy Lee, which premieres this coming Sunday, August 3 at 10:00 pm.

For ten episodes the rocker and rapper will travel across the U.S. with their “ecorages” and a few guest stars to raise awareness about the environment. It will end with a green benefit concert in L.A. to help renew the recently wildfire consumed Griffith Park.

I want to see just how “green” these high profile musicians can be while traveling across the U.S., since most musicians leave a huge carbon footprint with their oversized tour buses, energy consumption, purchasing of expensive clothes and outlandish food requests.

If they do prove to be eco-friendly, I hope other celebrities participate in the show.
