Iron Chef America Winner Reduces Waste by Creating Edible Menus

Iron Chef America is a great spin-off of the original Iron Chef show that was “cooked up” in Japan.

This past January Chicago Chef Homaru Cantu dethroned Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, gaining respect from his fellow food connoisseurs and widespread acclaim from followers of the show.

But did you know that Chef Cantu also cares about the environment? Well he does, and so much in fact that to reduce waste he created “edible menus” for his restaurant. They even come with dipping sauce!

He won’t tell the secret of how they are made, but let’s just say they have something to do with lasers (I’m sure Dr. Evil would be very proud of him).
