Now I’ve seen some unique eco-inspired clothing in my time, such as Bjork’s swan thingamajig that she wore to the 2001 Oscars to represent her homeland of Iceland, and Eva Longoria dressed as a peacock to…dress like a peacock, but I must say that I’ve truly seen green when I came across the new Japanese solar- powered bra!
If you think I’m kidding, just take a look at this picture:
This green garment actually has a panel that is worn around the stomach and gathers direct sunlight, which can then be used to charge your cell phone or iPod.
Could you imagine being in the middle of a grocery line when someone’s phone dies and they say, “Excuse me, I need to recharge my phone through my bra.”
Of course, the bra comes with a warning that it should not be washed or worn in the rain.
I guess that means by wearing the bra you will not only be shocking others, but you could also literally shock yourself.

Maybe this should power a small radio so we can “tune in Tokyo”. I do suspect the models may become sore from all the guys wanting to adjust the station and volume knobs. That would be on my x-mas list!

How about just making the cloth solar, instead of having a panel sticking out?
